Author Radoslaw Czyrnek | Date 15/02/2008
Wind Mobile, in partnership with Dialogic, presented five systems for mobile operators during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Wind Mobile, a vendor of systems for value-added and premium mobile services, was one of the six exhibitors from Poland. This year Mobile World Congress drew 1,600 exhibitors from all over the world.

We already work with three out of four main mobile operators in Poland. Participation in Mobile World Congress is one of the first steps we are taking to present our offer to carriers in other countries - says Tomasz Gniewek, Head of Sales and Consulting at Wind Mobile. This is also a next stage of our partnership with Dialogic; we are extending our cooperation, so far focused on technology, also on marketing projects.

The offer showcased by Wind Mobile during the Congress is focused on delivery systems for premium and value-added mobile services, such as:

  • Falcon Custom Ringback Tones enable subscribers to replace a traditional exchange “beep” with a song or another sound effect, with features including sets, dynamic sets and corporate identity. Possible applications range from targeted advertising to ringback as a gift. The system is available also in SaaS model.
  • Falcon Video IVR introduces mobile access to services via video channel in real time, enabling intuitive and media rich user interfaces and content.
  • Falcon Notifications combines missed call notifications, empty call capture and notification on return. Additional features include notification aggregation, black and white lists, auto-responder, auto-connect and advertising.
  • Pharos USSD Gateway is the universal platform enabling easy deployment of USSD-based applications. It is a high-performance, highly scalable platform with a billing interface and flexible Java API, able to channel multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Falcon Mobile Video Blogging allows subscribers to post a video from their mobile phones directly to a blog. Calling a specified number is all it takes.

We consider our debut in Mobile World Congress a success. We observed our visitors were positively surprised with the scalability and robustness of the solutions that we offer
- says Tomasz Gniewek.
